Can anyone help me with this? > Video Included

I am having troubles recording my video so that when it is on YouTube I don't get the black bar effect, yes this is a paid for version so it doesn't have anything to with being pirated, it happens on both Bandicam and Fraps.

It's most likely 1 or 3. Your Fraps settings are pretty much the same as mine however I have mine set to record at 35FPS but that shouldn't matter. Although, your Fraps is outdated.

I have no idea why it's doing that then. Sorry, hopefully someone else knows.

I believe the reason why this is happening is you are recording @ a resolution that is a 4:3 ratio not a 16:9 ratio. So when you insert a 4:3 video in a 16:9 video "box" if you will. That will show the black bars on the sides. You could always stretch the video from a ration of 4:3 to 16:9, but then it would look disproportional and more pixelated. So I personally would leave it the way it is !

Like my comment if this helps !!

of fraps or WLMM?

Movie Maker. The Fraps settings really shouldn't effect it, I have mine pretty much set up the same as yours and I don't have the blackbars on my videos so that's why I believe it's WLMM causing it.

I know this may sound silly but what is your monitor and does it support 16:9 ?  Asking because I only switched over from a CRT about a year ago and I know many that still use it.

it says generic PNP moniter but it's a gateway FPD1730 https://support.gateway.com/s/MONITOR/7005294/7005294nv.shtml

Do you have a link to what you use?

unfortunately it is still doing it..... although I do have a new Windows Live Movie Maker

Click the little blue button above the Paste button and then hover your mouse over the little arrow next to the Save movie option. Scroll all the way down to the bottom and create a new setting. Make the ratio 1920x1080 for 1080p or 1280x720 for 720p and save it with those settings. I think that will fix it.

When I am doing this it should be in 16:9?
