Hey folks, when I first started using LCPDFR a few weeks ago, I was able to install a liberty city pack with some good looking police units. Every since then though, I have not been able to put new cars or player models in there. I use OpenIV (running as admin) I am going into edit mode and all that jazz. I installed a police texture thing where my uniforms would be black, the uniforms are still blue and when I view the wtd and what not it looks black in the pictures, why isnt it translating that into the game? HEELP!

 

I am willing to hop on someones teamspeak/vent/mumble to get some real time support if possible.

What police texture thing are you trying to install?

I've tried to install countless player models and vehicle models. 

 

I'll list a few things I've tried installing.

Im going into OpenIV and drag and dropping the right files.

I suggest using GTA IV Vehicle Mod Installer v1.6 to easy install new vehicles, and later you can use OpenIV to edit .wtd files if you want to. As for cop models you have to open componentpeds.img file and replace the files with the ones in the Uniform folder and do the same for the files in the Hats folder but in pedpros.img.

you dont drag and drop the files you import the files there is a  button that says import

Thanks guys, I got it figured out. I was mixing up pedprop and componetped.
