I have tried EVERYTHING

Featured Replies

I have tried EVERYTHING to try to change my NAT type to Open, nothing has worked, I have tried restarting my router, opening ports, and everything like that, but nothing has worked, does anybody know how to change my NAT type from strict to open

What application/program/game is telling you that it is strict? What router do you have? How is your "device" connected? I had this problem a while back with my Xbox, and I fixed it by setting the Xbox in the router settings as the "DMZ Host."

Go into your router settings and try to set your PC as the DMZ host.

I don't have a linksys router so I don't know. It has to be there somewhere, if you can, please put a screenshot of the configuration page so I can see where they might be hiding it. Feel free to block out any personal info.

Applications & Gaming > DMZ > Enable and select "Any" or "All" or something like that, then put your computers internal IP for destination, then save settings.
