I got a stupid question

Featured Replies

Hey guys I got a question about playing GTA 4 online using LCPDFR. If I started my own server and someone joined while I was using LCPDFR could my account get banned for using mods online? If I joined a random game online could I get banned for using LCPDFR online? I bought gta 4 through steam! Sorry for the stupid question.

I think the GFWL system will warn you, and also stop you, when creating and/or joining a server with mods. I have played online, on my own private match and on their private matches without problems. Now, bringing mods into a public game is another thing, you may not get banned but the players playing on that server may not like it.

What is GFWL system? Never mind. So you're saying that my Windows live account will possibly get banned?

GFWL = Games for Windows Live, sorry.

If you are playing on a public server, yes. Hopefully someone else on these forums can give a better answer. :)
