GTA4 Has Stopped Working After about 10-30 mins

Featured Replies

I have read several different threads regarding this issue and after following steps still no luck.

I have attached the diagnostics log hich shows I only have one ASI loader etc.

Loading the game has no problems and going into police stations/becoming officer is fine.

I only have one modded car -> '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

Also, when I press Alt + T to get the taser out, a few differnet things happen..

1) I lose the pistol and get the taser.

2) When i change weapon after holding the taser/enter a vehicle, I lose the taser and my firearm.

3) I get an error like this: Error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

I have tried re-installing the game, making backups and deleting my game save.

What else can I do to make this work?

Thanks

Reinstall LCPDR, this time Run as Admin (right click the installer, select "Run as Admin".).

Also, make sure your GTAIV (or EFLC) root folder is not set to Read Only.  Uncheck that box and then install LCPDFR.

EDIT:  BTW: try replacing the modded car to the original and see if you still crash.  Id do that before reinstalling LCPDFR.  Some modded vehicles can just mess up your game.
