Installing LCPD:FR

Featured Replies

Hello, I have just downloaded LCPD:FR 0.95 RC2 R2 and when it goes to install, an error message appears stating:

"Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the permissions to access the file."

Can someone please help me with this matter. If it helps, GTA IV and EFLC both work great on my PC.

I look forward to a response.

Many Thanks,

Right click the LCPDFR installer, go to properties, and make sure it's set to "run as admin".

Also, makes sure your root GTAIV/EFLC folder is not set to read only.  Go to properties and uncheck "read only", and let it do it's thing, then reinstall LCPDFR, running that as Admin.

Good Luck!
