I run it as Admin and social club comes up i click "Play" i can hear the disc spinning, then i kinda slows down and nothing I would like to get reply's on this ASPA please

Have you checked for scratches?

I'll give you a little secret of mine that I use:

Take a piece of toilet paper (or whatever you prefer to call it) and make it damp; then wipe the disc in a circular motion around the whole disk. Wait a second without drying the water off; and then taking a dry piece of toilet paper and wipe of the water in an outwards motion from the center of the disk to the edge. Try this; usually it always works for me unless the disc is severely damaged.

The disc is new, never been used, but i will check for finger prints :whistling:

Well that changes things :D I would make sure you have everything installed that you need to run GTA; and maybe just update your .net framework etc. (if you are on windows)

Yes normal GTA works fine, just to clarify i have done all the net frame updates and stuff, do i need to do then again for EFLC ?

The CD should work right out of the box without anything having to be done. Nothing else has to be done for EFLC that you have done for GTA IV original, in terms of .NET framework and C++ (for LCPDFR).

I may have installed a patch for EFLC, and now i can't remember if i did or didn't :wallbash: That may be the cause of the problem, i think i downloaded it and it looked to complicated so i left it.

No i did not, i shall try and don't you need social club to load uo you're save game or am i just being a retard ?

Is your GFWL completely up to date? The same thing happened to me with the original GTA IV when I tried to start it without having GFWL installed.

Now, since your GTA IV works, this may not be the problem, but maybe EFLC requires a more up to date version of GFWL...

It updated during the installation.

Just wanted to add,

With the patch 1.0.7.0 or which other patch that removes Rockstar social to play the game online is some what glitched.

I have had the same problem as i had the latest patch and i would go to play online and it said rockstar social was needed to play online.

I uninstalled GFWL and reinstalled in and i ran the game and it worked fine without rockstar social, it's a bug in the system that has been there for awhile and Rockstar as usual does not get around to fixing bugs or providing enough support for their customers.
