Ok, so my friend has two copies of GTA 4 one copy on steam and one copy on disc, we tried using both and LCPDFR Mod won't start at all, we tried pressing  left Alt + p numerous times but no luck, we reinstalled the game 10 times and same with the mod... and nothing as well. We reinstalled C++ and Netframe still nothing... The only mode that allows my friend to play is when he uses the xlive.dll instead of the dsound.dll and when we use the dsound.dll the scripts doesn't even run at all... literally when we are in game you can delete the lcpdfr and dsound out of it. we tried using admin to run the gta still nothing...

 

Please help as we have worked on this for 12 hrs already and still no luck.

Yes I have looked in that section but there's no solutions at all... Everything in the diagnostics says it's correct, everything's in place and LCPDFR just doesn't start... I am thinking his dsound.dll doesn't know how to activate when the game is running.

Same as for me just too get this topic back dsound.dll only crashes my game

the only opportunity is when I use xlive.dll but this one literally disables the multiplayer function which IS annoying.
