Just purchased these parts back on the 2nd? 3rd? Idk....but regardless I HAVE NEW TOYS! LOL

650w PSU (don't know the exact details as I swapped the 350w I was gonna get out for this one last minute)

Asus Motherboard P8H61-M LX3 R2.0 Core i7/i5/i3 LGA1155 H61 DDR3 SATA microATX

Intel CPU BX80646I54430 Core i5-4430X Box 3.00Ghz 6MB LGA1150 4Core/4Threads

2 x Kingston Memory KVR16N11S8/4 4GB DDR3 1600 SRx8 Retail

Seagate HDD ST3000DM001 Barracuda 64MB 3TB SATA III 6Gb/s 7200rpm Bare Drive

^ not quite using this one yet. got some minor details  to work out first....

SanDisk SSD SD6SB1M-128G-1022i 128GB x110 2.5inch SATA III Brown Box
^ Main drive

as for the graphics card.....I only know that it's a 2gb AMD Radeon HD 6600 Series, and that I got two monitors hooked to it. 1 via VGA 1 via DVI (main monitor)

I'm using my old C drive, a 1tb Seagate as an external in an enclosure that can hold up to 2 3.5" hard drives, along with another 1tb external drive

duct taped (yes, I'm one of those! LOL) to the side of my case, is a 4 port USB hub which, along with the 2 front USB ports on my case gives me a total of 9 ports (you could say 10, BUT technically, you're "losing" a port to the hub).

I actually traded a 1gb graphics card I had for the 2gb one. IN Total, I spent about $760 including shipping. I kept my old case and dvd burner. (also had to get a mounting kit for the SSD drive)

all in all, it's a pretty good system. I'm able to run IMVU on one screen and keep an eye on two rooms at once, WHILE running GTA IV w/ no problems at all.

ONLY complaint I have is I CAN'T figure out how the HELL to get My damn joystick to work with the game. I've got a Saitek X45 (I'd really only use the stick. wouldn't use the throttle I don't think..). I really think being able to use that would improve My driving lol

Hmmm, I don't get why you bought the 4430X, afaik the 4670(k) is better and costs about the same. Your PSU is a bit overpowered. Then I'm not really a fan of SanDisk SSDs. Other than that your system looks ok.

Well, I was on a budget (insurance claim), and I WAS gonna purchase a new copy of windows 7 but after talking to Microsoft, I found out that I can just RE-install my copy of XP Pro then use the upgrade copy of windows 7 home premium I have. I didn't know IF I could since it's a family pack and it's only for 3 systems, and I've already used it 3 times.

AS for the PSU.....call it prior planning for future upgrades. I know my graphics card required a 350w minimum. I've got two PCI-E Slots, but won't be able to use one of them due to the fact that the fan on my graphics card is so big it covers up one of them, but I do plan at some point to add other components to it. At some point, I might upgrade to a bit larger motherboard. The one I have now is a TAD smaller than I'd like. Guess that's what I get for not doing my research lol

I just took a peek inside and I actually swapped the SanDisk SSD for a PNY SSD.

I should add when it comes to hardware, I'm not all that savvy on what's what. I call My guy up, tell him what I need, and he puts a package together for me.

How did your Mother board hook up to your chip? the sockets are different, LGA1155 and LGA1150 ?

Well spotted. I didn't even check that.

You selected an Ivy Bridge motherboard, but a Haswell CPU.
