GTA IV 1.0.4.0 Crashes after loading 'The Cousins Bellic'

Featured Replies

I have re-installed fresh, twice. Same thing, crashes after loading the save files, I'm pretty sure 'The Cousins Bellic' since I haven't done any missions.

I am fresh installed on update 1.0.4.0, don't want to update to 1.7.0 due to some compatibility issues with other mods. The crash is 'Windows needs to close the program', and i hit force close, or close now. I'm on Windows 7 64-bit. I've tried the latest beta, and latest stable release.

Both do the same, here's me Diagnostics tool info:

I had it running fine on 1.0.7.0 but some mods wouldn't work on it so I'm going back to 1.0.4.0

Can anyone help? I can give any more information needed.

Thanks!

No 1.0.7.0 = no LCPDFR.

and what version LCPDFR you're using?

Damn...I wanted to use the iCEnhancer mod, but It won't fully work on 1.0.7.0

I tried both the ones on the downloads page, the 0.95 beat 1, and 0.91.

Both 0.95 and 0.91 will not work without v.: 1.0.7.0. You will have to decide which mod you really want

not really true, I have mine patched to 1.0.4.0 and 0.95 beta 1 is 100% playable. just use older scripthook.dll 0.4.0 right click LauchGTAIV.exe and run as administrator.

Nice to hear, now... did LCPDFR work?

I'm using the beat like before because I like the extra features. It works fine, well except for the constant crashing. But that's expected, it's a beta.

But soon I will be switching to 1.0.4.0 with the older scripthook, thanks gtasolid!

EDIT: Could anyone link me the the older 0.4.0 scripthook? I can't find a download.
