ELS Lights Not Bright Enough?

Featured Replies

I use radiance mod by Bxbugs. It can be found on gtapolicemods website.

If I helped, I would appreciate you pressing the green arrow to the right of your screen!

Did you try visual settings included in the els .rar file?

turn up the value in other emissive lights in visual settings...if you would of searched the web you would of found the answer since its been asked a hundred times

Ok, so I mixed ENBs and got a very good combination but one problem, the ELS lights look great except for there is this bloom (not sure how to describe it), but you can see what I mean in the video below, do you know how to fix this?

you have to play around with the bloom settings in the enb ini...you can download different enbs that enhance the lights and look at there bloom settings to get an idea of what they do like neolux 1-4, n rage, savior enb and adjust it to your liking

Thanks, except now it is has too much bloom no matter what bloom settings it try from different ENBs, and I don't want to turn down the emissive lights because I like how there bright. But I did turn it down and then I lost brightness and it still had the bloom.

I would personally restore a backup of all of the visual settings files you modified, remove your ENB and then try an ENB meant specifically for ELS.  I have heard that Game4Video ENB works very well for ELS, but it's hard to say what the performance hit will be.

I used Game4Video ENB for a while and I really liked it, but it took a pretty big performance hit on my computer so that's why I'm trying new ENB's. Right now I got an ENB that I mixed with others and tweaked the settings, and it runs great on my computer and looks good even with the lights except there is a bloom that is kinda annoying that i'm trying to tone down. If anyone can help with how to turn down the bloom that would be great. Thanks.

Ah, I see.

Let's get the most obvious possible solutions out of the way first.  Try going into ENBseries.ini and look for this:

[EFFECT]
EnableBloom=true

Then set it to false.

If that doesn't work, try setting ambient occlusion to false.

Thanks, but It didn't work, do you have any other solutions on what to do?

Try backing off the emissive settings a little bit in visualsettings.dat.  I remember I had them up too high once and I had a lot of bloom.  It doesn't take much, maybe setting them down a little bit will be enough for the lights to still be bright but without the excessive bloom.
