hi guys first of all i want to say good job on the 0.95 and here is my problem i think every one has this problem:) today i put 2 mods the new CVPI by BxBugs Chicago Police Department and 06 Impala CPD by Yakdafi and here is the thing. When im in a pursuit or shots fired i press Alt+B to backup me but these cops are use to non-els car i mean if you have AN ELS Car the lightbar it's off if you understand me how can these cops to put the lightbar on...sorry for bad english...

There's been a few topics on this. AI police do not know how to handle ELS lights very well. Most units that you call for backup in any situation will have their lights on. Police cars that simply pass by, or ones that join a pursuit in progress generally do not. This is how it's been for months in version .91.

.95 works a bit better with ELS for some reason, as you'll see a lot more cars use their lights. You can also attempt to force cars that don't use their lights to turn them on using a little script called 'ELS Fix'. You can toggle them on or off using the '[' and ']' keys. It's usually not effective against cars with AI police in them because they fight for control for the lights. But the rule I mentioned above applies. If they are called backup units, they are supposed to have their lights on, 'ELS Fix' will usually work if you hit it. If they are random units, 'ELS Fix' usually will not do anything. If the cars are abandoned, ELS Fix works fine because there are no AI police to fight with for control.

With .95 being released, I think ELS has been more worth it than ever due to the added realism and the fact that more cars use it willingly now with increased stability. I think the script could use a total re-write though. Either that or more cooperation between G17 and the ELS team/one man team.

unr3eal in your vids the ELS car works perfectly fine at officer ..doesnt work that els fix.

If you're referring to the beta video, police AI use their lights more often than in.91, but it's still hit or miss.

can someone help me with the other cops they dont use ELS>...

Make sure in the config file ELS for SP is enabled (set to 1).

hang on.... ELSV5 didn't officially add the support for lights on AI cops, it was only on V6 if i remember right.

How do you make the light reflections blue? In the config file go to the car you want to change and read the codes for colors (should be four or five, from 0-4). It will only change the reflection, not the actual lights, but that might be what you want. So, for example,

Active = 1

Color_Light1L = 0

Color_Light2L = 0

Color_Light3R = 0

Color_Light4R = 0

Offst_SLights = 0

is all red reflections, but adding ones makes some blue.



Example:

Active = 1

Color_Light1L = 1

Color_Light2L = 0

Color_Light3R = 0

Color_Light4R = 1

Offst_SLights = 0

makes some blue and some red.

I think you are talking about this ! In ELS.ini just change the Color_Light to the value of 1 . For example:

[ FBI ]

Active = 1

Halogen_Only = 0

Color_Light1L = 1

Color_Light2L = 1

Color_Light3R = 1

Color_Light4R = 1

Color_Light7L = 3

Color_Light8C = 3

Color_Light9R = 3

Offst_SLights = 0

I gave you the FBI as example because i have a undercover Impala that is only using blue lights ! Hope it helps ;) !
