Traffic Flow/TrafficLoad causing crash

Featured Replies

Hey there,

I recently set up my GTA IV again, installed ELS 7, some cars and a bunch of script mods.

Now, every time I'm playing with a Taxi Bug fix like Traffic Flow, the game crashes after a few minutes with the error output "GTA IV has stopped working". As soon as I delete the Traffic Flow or TrafficLoad files from the scripts/main folder, I can play without any problems or crashes.

Putting the files back into the folder again leads to the crash after a short time. I've tried almost everything, updating ScriptHook, ScriptHookDotNet, AdvancedHook, reinstalling LCPDFR, even downgrading the ScriptHook. Nothing worked, everytime I start the game with Traffic Flow or TrafficLoad it crashes. The ScriptHook and asi-loader are in the right place and working. There are also no errors after running the diagnostics tool. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Thanks in advance!

I'd advise to set up a private multiplayer match and just playing there.

You don't need Traffic Flow online, which is weird but it works.

Processor: Intel i5-6600 @ 3.30GHz

GPU: MSI ARMOR GeForce GTX 1080 OC

Ram: 16GB Skylake

hmm im having the same problem with els 7 crashes right at the apartment...so it must be the trafficload causing the crashes which is weird...have you tried a different traffic mod like real traffic or traffic control?

That's a good idea, I'll try that.

Not yet, I just tested it with TrafficFlow and TrafficLoad, and the game crashes with both mods.

I was having this same problem with an install of ELS7. Try  increasing the random dispatch number in TrafficFlow this seemed to help.

I just got rid of the problem. The crashes weren't caused by the Traffic Mods, but by a corrupted Speedo file that made the game crash everytime it tried to spawn a Speedo in Traffic. I replaced the Speedo again, everything working fine now. Thanks to everyone who answered!

That could be it! Thanks for helping me too :P

I should check my game to find if anything is corrupt
