Problems with Traffic flow and LCPDFR

Featured Replies

Ok so first off I have my game updated to 1.0.7.0, GTAIVLauncher is always run as an admin etc etc, My real problem is with the taxi bug when I try to fix it.

I have done a clean reinstall of GTA IV and loaded the 1.0.7.0 patch onto it, done all the necessary things that I need to do. Installing LCPDFR was fine, I ran the game, it worked, so then I open up the car mod installer and chuck a few car mods on, install ELS7 etc, then reload my weapons.img and WEAPONS.ivaud into sparkIV and that works fine. Boot up the game and play for a bit, everythings fine. Taxi bug kicks in so I get Trafficload and chuck it in my root folder. That didn't let Alt + P work so i did some research and figured out that it goes into the scripts folder. I chuck it in there and boot the game as admin, Alt + P isn't working, Ctrl + P isn't working, and I still have the taxi bug, and no LCPDFR. So that failing I downloaded TrafficFlowV5RC2 which I then put into my scripts folder. Boot the game and again, Alt + P and Ctrl + P don't work. My .Netframework, scripthooks, etc all up to date. It looks to me like the Traffic mods are cancelling out all the other script mods so its either play without the taxi bug and no LCPDFR or with the bug AND LCPDFR which is quite a pickle.

Thank you for any time you give to help me.

Try using Chikmaru's Real Traffic and Traffic Load.  See if you have the same issue with those.

I like both of these alternatives better and I'm constantly switching between the two.  You see all the cars available (80+ with these two), you only get 20 with Traffic Flow and TF seems to spawn traffic in alleyways, on the boardwalk, beaches and sidewalks, which is goofy.  You can adjust the amount of peds and traffic in the trafficload.ini file but it has a tiny bit of texture flashing after awhile.  Real Traffic give massive amounts of diverse traffic and peds with no texture flashing or loss at all, but it's a little more of a system hog.  Just unzip either one into your scripts folder.

Good luck!
