only recently i can only play gtaiv for about 10 mins before it shuts off, i played around with my settings and it still turns off, cant be the power supply because it's working on everyrthing else..

 

any ideas?

 

i think it could e my cpu, i checked with the gadget on windows, loaded the game clicked the windows on the keyboard and it jumped to 89%.. how do i make it lower?

If it's you WHOLE PC turning off, this could be a bad sign for your PC. Try finding a software where you can check your CPU temperature. Most PC that turn themselves off is due to the CPU overheating, which could, in the long run, cost you hundreds to buy a new one.

Either CPU temperature or your PSU. And don't say "It's not the PSU because everything else works" - A CPU and GPU under full load need much more wattage than a CPU and GPU idling. If the CPU doesn't receive enough power, it performs an emergency shutdown of the PC. I had those symptoms when I installed a new GPU and played games like BF3 for 10-20 minutes. A simple PSU upgrade to a higher wattage solved it.
