Hm currrently it seems okay.... maybe it was the Braveheart Mod...

Did you correct your graphics settings? GTA has a hard time with newer graphics cards.. not to say yours is new sounds a bit old, kinda like mine lol. keep your texture quality on high and lower the rest. Seems to have worked for me.

 resource usage at about half

I run LCPDFR and Braveheart's and it doesn't lag all that much. Maybe you have background programs running that sap some CPU power. Try closing as many unnecessary programs as you can. That may help.

Gta is lagging for me as well.It lags while I run and drive. The only mod I have is Police Helper. I played around with the graphic settings in the game and they're all set on low.

Specs

Processor: AMD FX-6120 (3.5GHz)

Core: Six Core

Memory: 10GB DDR3 (PC3-12800)

Max Mem: 32GB

Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 7450 (1GB DDR3 Dedicated)

Hard Drive: 1TB SATA (7200rpm)

I don't know much about computers so if I could get some help that would be very nice.

Tips

Kill all programms that take CPU, and network.

Restart your PC before starting (it makes your PC a little bit faster for a little time).

Set your Graphics on Medium, or low.

If this not works, you can fuck your PC, and buy a new one OR, fuck your Graphic card, and buy a new one ;p

OR, use a commandline, but thats makes your game unrealistic.

<p>iam JuStFiRe- i lost my pass lol Whop whop... Im JuStFiRe-, but forget my pass

Mine lags to however I ended up going windowed mode and putting every to low and that seemed to make a difference... And I"M on a G55-VW... There is no reason why mine should be laggin like it did with decent settings on.
