Hey guys,

At the suggestion of someone on here to make my game more stable, I decided to only put modded cars into the fbi, noose, polpatriot, and N/P stockade. So far everything is golden except the damn stockade...

I can't seem to find the best middle ground for handling. My car usually flips over at high speeds and I've tried to search for a good handling line to no avail. The truck sounds don't really bug me, I just want to have those lines set properly.

Thanks man. I went to a lot of those links already and some of the cars I have don't come with handling lines.

I found a tidbit about renaming the filepack, so I'll give it a try.

Otherwise, is there a better line to use for the stockade? I don't really want to use a car line since the variables don't match up (the stockade line is shorter than other vehicles)

I know how to edit the line, but I'm looking for a proper line to use for the pstockade and nstockade because regardless of what I put in and save, the handling still isn't quite right and the nstockade especially tips very easily around corners which doesn't make sense since I'm only editing the stockade file (which all 3 use, right?)

I'll figure it out though, no biggie. I just thought someone might have had one handy to test out. :-)

Savior, mad props to you for trying so hard to help. Already clicked all the links I could find.... The handling does work when I modify it but I'm having trouble finding the best pairing.

Should I piecemeal different transmissions, wheel tractions, body masses from different things or try to keep it all in one string?

I'm using the concept Ford interceptor stealth in my nstockade slot, and the police lambo gallardo for my pstockade slot. I've tried taking lines from just the basic police for the Ford and like the turismo for the lambo, but the drift is still wrong.

I was more just inquiring if perhaps anyone had a good line they're already using and could post it for me to trial and error.

To make it easier just make a new line in the hanling file & call it pstock & nstock, so you can use different handling for every vehicle (be aware that you need then to change the HandlingID line of the pstock & nstock from STOCKADE to PSTOCK & NSTOCK.

I'll give it a try and report back.

I figured it would likely just be something that I'd just have to tweak until I got right. You guys have all been doing this stuff for ages and I've officially got about 5 days of experience so I figured that someone out there had gotten it perfected.
