help with read-only file

okay so before installing i watched a lot of video to right click the GTA file ,hit properties and untick the read-only option. i have done that and clicked apply...but when i click properties on it again its ticked...how can i make the file NOT read-only and stay like that because i cant use LCPDFR unless it do that :(

    Have you tried running the LCPDFR Installer as an Administrator?

    Rick Click> Run as Administrator

     

    My GTA IV folder was read only, and running LCPDFR installer as Administrator worked for me.

    Try that, and let us know of the results.

    That means your Grand Theft Auto IV folder is Read Only.

    Only way to get rid of that, is to change it, by right clicking the folder, clicking Properties, and un-checking Read Only
