This is the first time I've experienced this. The lightbar is on the car, I knowit's structured fine, I've made cars before, but the lights just don't work, every other light on the car works fine except the lightbar. This happens with any lightbar I add.

I've tried Whelen Justice, Whelen Edge 9000, and Federal Legend.

Ensure that your hierarchy is set up properly. ensure misc_muffin for the Edge is part of the Mounts in the hierarchy.

Ensure that the lights are above the legend it self....

 

 

Only thing I can think of is this... a messed up hierarchy because I never had this problem with any lightbar

I had hooves in a misc that I keep all my "polygons" in. I normally created 2 misc_x                    one misc_r and one misc _l and all the extras go in misc_l but the models go in misc_r, so I just put hooves in misc_r and set up the extras in misc_l

It wasn't...... but every other light works fine.....

If the glass for the lightbar is above the extra's themselves then the glass will act as a wall. 

The lights are most likely activating, however, because of the placement in the hierarchy, the lights cannot penetrate the glass.

 

Also, try not to use an extensive amount of misc_ dummies as I have heard the more misc_ the larger possibility of crashing in game.

Thank you. And my technique actually uses the least amount of misc_x's only 2 needed/added.
