So after the new gta update I had to make a new mods folder since the old one crashed on startup and that I figured out with tiral and error. After making said new mods folder I redownloaded and installed some of the police cars that I previously had but they show up in game as the vanilla cars.

What I've tried.

• Multiple different patchdays (patchday25ng which previously always worked, patchday28ng which is the most recent one with that format and also the most recent patchday I had.

• Reinstalling ELS

• Reinstalling ASI loaders in open iv a couple of times

• Different gameconfigs just for somereason and that lead back to the game crashing on startup.

I tried installing police 1,2,3,4 and sheriff 1,2 and as of now after 4 hours of work I got 3 of those in game (police, police4 and sheriff) and from those the "police" is the only one that has working els, "police4" has no lights working and "sheriff" has working lights but they work with the honk key like in the base game.

I tried to mention all the things I've tried but I am sure that I've missed somethings but those are probably the main things that were mentioned in different older posts.

My current thinking is that I may have made the new mods folder wrong and the game somehow bypasses it or something, thats my biggest guess that something is wrong with the mods folder or the patchdays.

Have you tried the mp2025_02 (I might be slightly off on the naming) patchday? I believe that works for others.

Did you grab a gameconfig specifically for the newest game version?

Tried it now and nothing changed. And also yes the game config was for the latest game version but it only caused the out of memory crash on startup, tried multiple different configs and also tried heap- and packfilelimitad adjusters but still had it happen so I figured ill just roll with the default config since it has always worked for me in the past.

Turns out I had infact installed them in the wrong place... I got them in the game but now els is messing with me but im pretty sure I can figure that out myself since and most likely its the ASI loaders as this is same type of situation. Thanks for the help tho!
