What is the overlay in the top right of the screen? Is that via Epic games?

The issue you have is with Windows itself. having an inactivated version probably isn't helping

Okay, try turning off the overlay temporarily and see if RPH will hook the game, sometimes overlays can interfere with the hooking process, and I mean disable it in the settings, not just turning it off.

It's still not right that windows is resetting your properties though

Windows is the problem, it's not allowing RPH to run due to the permissions. You might need to look at your own account, and have a look through windows settings to see if there is anything else preventing it

Those logs are no use, they are a different install and before a lot of the steps we have taken so they will not help.

Besides, the crashes in those logs are caused by RAGENativeUI not being installed, which was the first thing I suggested to you. So if you have altered the game in any other way then you are starting from square one

If you cannot remove the read-only attribute to the game folder, it's an issue with the operating system, or your account on the operating system.

If you go to your game folder properties, does your account own the folder? If not we can try changing ownership

So it seems you are not the only one with this issue, and it seems worse on Windows 11.

So usually what happens is when an RPH update is released, Microsoft will flag it as a virus until it is used by enough people and passes their checks, then all is fine. Usually as well an exception can just be made in Windows Security. However, this time they appear to be using more aggressive tactics, especially in Windows 11.

I am looking into it now, I will let you know if I find a fix
