LSPDFR works on first launch after install, then “Could not hook game proce

Hello,

I have a strange issue with LSPDFR and RAGE Plugin Hook.

System:

  • GTA V Enhanced (Steam version)

  • RAGE Plugin Hook 1.130.1406.17682

  • Fresh LSPDFR installation

  • No additional mods installed

Problem:

After installing LSPDFR and RAGE Plugin Hook, everything works correctly the first time. The game launches, LSPDFR loads, and I can play without any issues.

However, after closing the game and trying to start it again later, RAGE Plugin Hook fails during startup.

Sequence:

  • Launch RAGE Plugin Hook

  • Launching Game

  • Awaiting Game Window

  • Hooking Game Instance

  • Black screen appears briefly

  • Game crashes/closes

  • RAGE Plugin Hook shows:

“Could not hook game process. Insufficient permissions or bad antivirus software.”

What I already checked:

  • Windows Defender disabled/tested

  • GTA V folder added to exclusions

  • No antivirus detections in protection history

  • GTA V starts normally without RAGE Plugin Hook

  • No other mods installed

  • Restarting the PC does not solve the issue

  • RAGE Plugin Hook log is not updated after the crash, so there is no useful error information from the failed launches

Has anyone experienced this issue where LSPDFR works initially but fails on all later launches with the hook process error?

Thank you.
