Hey everyone,

The other day I got quick help that worked, so I’m trying my luck again.

I had forgotten, but I still have a problem with ELS. (a little older)

After a few minutes of playing, ELS stops responding. I checked the logs, etc., but nothing is there no crash or anything just that it simply stops responding. I can’t turn the sirens on or off, or open the control panel in-game. I also don't get any error message in the game, it just simply stop working.

Every time, I have to restart the game hoping to get a few extra minutes next try.

I never had this problem before and I’ve tried reinstalling ELS completely, and ScriptHook too.

I hope to avoid the most extreme solution: reinstalling the game completely along with all the mods... ☠️

If anyone has ever faced this problem or knows a solution, I’m all ears! 👍

This post brought me flashbacks, I had a similar issue with ELS years ago but the solution escapes me.

Can you upload your ELS.log and asiloader.log please? They might provide some clues

Yes, I’ll show you both files as soon as it happens again. I was advised to uninstall and reinstall asiloader via OpenIV to see if that might change anything too

ELS uses the asiloader from ScriptHookV, so if OpenIV has overwritten that, you might need to install ScriptHookV again

Hi, so here are the 2 files you asked for, ELS.log and asiloader.log.

I tried the first solution which was to uninstall/reinstall asiloader but it's ineffective.

The logs are all okay.

You do have 207 ELS vehicle though, so I'm wondering now if ELS is being overloaded. Can you try temporarily moving most of the vehicle mods out and just leave a few, and see if ELS continues to stop after a few minutes? If it doesn't stop, then you know you have too many

That's a solution I hadn't considered, I'll try

I did some sorting, 25 models less (I deleted 5 addons) here's the new ELS.log

I don't know if it's just me, but the note wasn't on the one I sent you initially.

I see what you mean. Have you noticed any difference in game or still the same issue?

I played a bit last night, I'd say between 10 and 15 minutes, and I didn't have any problems. I didn't push my test too hard, it was 2 a.m., but I'm going to try a longer run to see if your solution worked or if I still need to sort things out.

I think it worked, I tried it last night for over an hour and I didn't have any problems

I'm afraid I don't know enough about ELS to suggest a workaround for adding that many vehicles, or if it is possible.

The problem is back, and the ELS.log no longer shows the last entry like I showed you the other day, I just deleted some vehicles again as a result 🤯

What version of Siren Setting Limit Adjuster are you using?

The one I downloaded on Discord, the one you told me about when I had a problem with SSLA that's no longer up to date or compatible since the last update

Okay no worries. You could try increasing your heap and/or resource adjusters. I would also suggest reducing the vehicle amount again as a diagnostic step

Do you have any idea what value I should put?
