Crashed while Loading LSPDFR

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I recently installed a fresh copy of GTA V Enhanced Edition, solely for playing LSPDFR. I downloaded the LSPDFR from this site and successfully installed it. I ran the game, created my character, played for a few hours. All was good. I then turned off my laptop and called it a day.

The next day, I came back to my laptop and tried to launch LSPDFR. The GTAV started, and started loading LSPDFR. Unfortunately, after loading for a minute or so, a pop-up appears saying that LSPDFR has crashed. The GTAV itself continued to run but just with an infinite circle "loading" LSPDFR. I need to force close the game.RagePluginHook.logRagePluginHook.log

I looked around different topics on this site but it seems that no one else had a similar problem. I did not install any other plug-in (as I don't actually know how to do so).

Attached please find the log file - hopefully I uploaded the correct one. I would be very grateful if someone can direct me the correct way to fix this. Thank you very much!

You are on a slightly older version of LSPDFR for Enhanced, please update to the newest version!

now i'm not really an expert on this, but i don't think the enhanced edition works too well with lspdfr, so you might wanna try legacy, afaik it's more stable

LSPDFR does work with Enhanced, the main issues you will encounter are with installing other mods/plugins, especially vehicle models

Thanks for the prompt reply! So I re-downloaded the latest version I can find on the site - please correct me if I am still downloading an older version:

I extract them to the GTA V folder. Unfortunately when I try to launch, the same issue occurs... I have attached the latest log file to see whether there are any differences between the crashes.

I am not planning to go further modding - the vanilla LSPDFR is good enough for me. Would the legacy version give me a better chance to play? I am not too keen on using the legacy version as it takes up 25GB more of my precious storage - which is a lot on a laptop. But if I am out of options then I will consider it (i.e. think about which other game I should delete to make up the space...).

As always, thanks a lot!

I checked and the pdbs and dlls were both in plugins folder already.

Just in case anyone else has this similar issue in the future, the game no longer crashes after I re-installed the "extra" patch:

Thanks all for helping out!
