LSPDFR crashes on arrest

Hi, I just checked your RagePluginHook.log

It's not an LSPDFR issue.

That usually happens because of a conflicting mod, especially DLS, Better Hit Reactions, or SimpleEmotes.

When you arrest someone, one of those mods crashes and the game closes.

Try removing them and testing.

If you want to use DLS, it's best to do a clean reinstall because those errors aren't normal. Once you've uninstalled them, try reinstalling them with the latest versions.

It's not the game that's crashing, it's LSPDFR itself. Game doesn't close, just LSPDFR crashing

Your topic has been moved to GTA V Support, this is not LSPDFR related.
Please post in the correct location in the future.

Don't think it should have been moved. My LSPDFR crashes and not the game itself, so this is LSPDFR related

Yes, I understand. GTA isn't closing; it's LSPDFR that's freezing. Even so, it usually happens because of a conflicting plugin. When you arrest someone, one of them malfunctions and causes LSPDFR to crash even though the game is still running.

That's why I suggested trying it without DLS, Better Hit Reactions, or SimpleEmotes to see if that fixes the problem.

Checked without all that plugins you mentioned, still crashes

Also, I did reinstall all my mods so issue doesn't seem to be mods folder related

Dude, I had that problem a while back. You're not doing anything wrong. Delete the lspdfr.ini file from the LSPDFR folder and let the game recreate it on startup. That fixed my issue with not being able to arrest people during chases or the guy dying at the end.

And another important thing: when the chase ends, don't arrest the second person. Wait a bit until they're completely still, and then arrest them. If you do it right after it ends, the game sometimes messes things up and kills them.

If it's still happening after that, it's a bug in LSPDFR, not something you're doing.

Turned out it was issue with Policing redefined. People in the discord said it's a known issue, but the devs won't fix it because they are rewriting the code. I removed it and it was fixed. Thanks for the help!
