Hi, every time when i run GTA 4 with a correctly installed LCPDFR i get the windows error that GTA 4 has crashed. I don't know what to do, i re-installed GTA about 6 times and it still doesn't work.

Specs? And you're also using lcpdfr right? Run the G17 media diagnostics tool and tell us what it says.

When Does it crash? Like how long after you launch the game? GTA IV is really unstable. I am crashing very minimal, after I got some advice, that I will pass on to you, Don't put a modded car into the noose slot. And downgrade to ELS v5.

i know the problem i had it to 

you re-install the game follow steps:

1: First Delete your game

2: Make sure there is no files from the deletet gta back or the game folder(EVERY THING SHALL BE REMOVED)

3: Install it agian start it up with out mods

4: Update the game to 1.0.7.0

5: Install mods ''CAREFULLY''

6: You should be done

Its Cool I was the same way. In the GTA IV Root folder you should see "LaunchGTAIV.exe" Right click on it and click Run as admin.

Hey everyone.
I'm crashing too with LCPDFR enabled. I'm running most of the suggested mods with LCPDFR, ELS v7 and I have 4 cars for ELS installed. My game crashes after about 20-40 minutes AFTER I enable the LCPDFR mod.
I ran the game for 4 hours straight (about 2 and a half hours of playing and the rest idling) without crashing yesterday. I have reinstalled my GTA 3 times now, I made a clean save everytime I reinstalled and I ran the diagnostics tool everytime I crashed. But the tool says there are no errors ._.

I'm kind of helpless right now, so any ideas what could be wrong ?

Edit: I ran the game now for 1 hour with LCPDFR enabled and I didn't crash. I avoided the backup function when arresting people so could that be my problem ?
