Game is switching to Franklin after I go on duty....

Featured Replies

Hey everyone, I am having a recent issue after installing NVE. Initially, I was crashing when trying to load LSPDFR after installing NVE. The fix that worked for me was downloading and installing the following:

-Most recent Game Config

-HeapAdjuster

-Packfile limit adjuster

-RageNativeUi

I don't know which of these actually fixed the crashing, but the game now loads fine with the mod and LSPDFR.

However, now when I load into the game, I load as my customized LSPDFR character, but as soon as I go on duty, I switch to Franklin. I am unable to change his outfit to a uniform at any of the stations.

Does anyone know of a fix for this or the cause? The game was fine until I installed NVE and the fixes.

Same issue. Happened after the patch. I had NVE installed already. I didn't change anything which was interesting. The game functions fine though. Stable game prior to the most recent GTA 5 and LSPDFR updates.

What worked for me:

  • As Franklin, once on duty, go to any police/sheriffs station

  • Go off duty (for me, this triggered a warning that it will go to a story mode character if you continue)

  • Then return into the building and go on duty. (this should ask you to make or select an LSPDFR character.)

  • Once you do that, it should be good.
