During peak times, downloads may be throttled if your browser does not pass integrity checks, which can be caused by adblockers or any other extension which removes or otherwise edits the page.

I was having this problem too but on the normal like chrome downloads, the 2 things I did that got the download speeds fixed was turning off my ad blocker and signing into lspdfr, idk what did it but be welcome to try those.

I also tried to disable addblocker, turning on and off vpn and antivirus software, signing in to the lspdfr page, enabling parallel download on google and clearing the google cache but nothing has rised the download speed from the 40-50 KB/s.
