Using events by another plugin

Featured Replies

Hey guys, I have a little question and I'm hoping to get some help from you guys.

I am currently in the process of creating my first own LSPD:FR Plugin, and I am unfortunately encountering an issue, I'm struggling to fix right now.

I'm trying to activate the StopThePed Feature (Slow Down Traffic) or (Stop Traffic) via the StopThePed Feature Traffic Control, but I always get the underlines under the Event.

What am I doing wrong here?

Thanks for the help!

The events aren't functions that you can activate, Events only tell you when they trigger so you can attach your own logic to it.

As an example:

StopThePed.API.Events.slowDownTrafficEvent += onSlowDown;

private void onSlowDown()
{
  Game.DisplayHelp("STP SLOW DETECTED - Traffic is currently slowed down");
}

Oh okay @RicyVasco, thank you, do you know any way to use STP SlowDownTraffic Function from my plugin?

All of Bejoljos plugin's are sincerly lacking in term of API so you're better of creating your own function for it.

You can use these two Nativefunctions:

ADD_ROAD_NODE_SPEED_ZONE

REMOVE_ROAD_NODE_SPEED_ZONE

You can check the arguments for these here

They essentially do the same thing as Bejoljo but from my experience, the cars wont freak out and try overtaking eachother
