Hey, so the update came out and updated my gta5, got the new rph installed and the new scripthook v installed in my main directory, but for some reason even though im on 3586 on scripthook v and gta5 it wont even let me run gta because i get a fatal error. someone help, i gotta take pictures for stuff !!!

    Hey there! Assuming that you have SHV (ScriptHookV) installed, check to see if you have a file in your main game directory named args.txt or args. This is a text file that is included in the SHV download, which most people usually installed with the other files in that bin folder without issues in the past. However, with the recent update, the rockstar games launcher for some reason blocks this file. See if you have it in your game directory, remove it, and try again. The game should begin to run as normal

    I deleted the args.txt, but im still getting the fatal unknown game version error. I appreciate the help so far though, hope you have any other ideas to fixing this ❤️

    Where did you get RPH from?

    Got it exactly from here on manual, I redownloaded it and put it into my directory but still nothing.

    Before we try re-installing ScriptHookV, try updating your game. Delete the GTA5.exe and then verify game files. Then test again.

    Steam Library > Right click GTA V > Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files

    Rockstar Games Launcher > Click GTA V > Click Settings > Verify

    me doing that just gave me a whole other version of gta5 with a whole other set of mods, cars, liveries, everything is that normal???

    I have a whole other issue now, I had an external drive in my pc, but now i unplugged it because i found out i have verified a gta5 from their, and im trying to go to my main directory via epic games and nothing comes up, but I have a GTA5 installed on my main drive, so how can i change the directory to my main drive?

    Alright, so I switched everything over to my external hard drive gta, put all my mods there and all that, but now everytime I start up regular GTA5 it just seems to crash and I cant play at all. If you want me to make a new forum then let me know but this is a whole other issue now, thanks

    Name it back to mods and do the following:
    1. Install the Gameconfig, Heap Adjuster, and Packfile Adjuster.

    2. If those don't work, remove what you have installed recently and test after each removal.

    3. If you still cannot find the issue, you will have to restart the mods folder.
