Hi, I've been working on the default police vehicles from GTA IV. How is it possible to have the traffic advisory or any lightning emissive visible trough the windshield, i tried interior light in the hierarchy, and a lot of them, and it seems is visible when not set in the interior. Any help will be appreciated.

You can't view things in zmodeler that are inside the car unless you zoom into the car but when the vehicle is exported and in game it will be view able.

I learned that, it is visible trough the game, but it doesn't flash trough the window. But when i put it outside the window, it flashes. It has to do with the windshield_r

sorry to say this but that is worng. You should and make sure that the lights (extra_1 - 9 are above windscreen and windscreen_r

I put them right below chassie_L1 (I do L2 if there is one)

Yeah just put them as high in the hierarchy as possible (but still below the chassis) and see how that goes. 

Thanks for your support guys, but still, that's how I have it and it won't show trough the windows. It's getting frustating, im working with the stock FBI slot.

 

[EDIT: Ok guys thanks, I've figured it out, the windshield_r and windshield were way on top, i put them by the end and bingo. Thanks everybody]
