Lspdfr Crashes when I go on duty

Featured Replies

The only extra plugins I have are EUP and Bejoijo's stop the ped, compulite, radarlite, and ultimate backup. When I go on duty lspdfr crashes but it says that stop the ped, compulite, and ultimate backup loaded successfully. I have ragenativeUI in the folder as well. See attached my file setup. Apologies in advance, I am new to lspdfr and modding in general.

Hi @quirkycracker  🙂

No worries about being new, we all start somewhere

Could you go to your root directory, look for RagePluginHook.log and send it here please? It would help us out trying to decipher your errors/crash

Thank you

Hi @Twuben

Thanks for the help. I've attached what I think is what you asked for and what looks to be a crash log? Let me know if this is incorrect.

RagePluginHook_19052025_055637.log 61.58 kB · 0 downloads

Thank you and it's exactly that!

Are you sure you have RageNativeUI.dll in your root GTAV directory? If you do try to download the latest version of RageNativeUI and replace the one you have.

Because currently your game is crashing when it tries to find RageNativeUI and doesn't find it. As you can see here
"[5/19/2025 1:58:22 AM.737] LSPD First Response:     Exception message: Could not find file 'RAGENativeUI.resources'."

.resources is just a method within the file for coding, but yeah it's trying to find RageNativeUI

Hope that helps 🙂

EDIT:

Just saw the pics again, and yeah RageNativeUI should be in your Root folder. In GTAV where the GTA.exe is found, not in the plugins, not in any other folder. In the root folder!

I don't even know how I missed that on the first time 😂

So you just have to move that file to where GTA.exe is located and that should fix everything

Thankyou @Twuben,

Its working now and I believe I'm getting the hang of it. Is there any general rule of thumb for what files go in the root folder vs. plugins folder or any other folder? Like is it based on file type? Or the function the file provides?

Many thanks again.

Whenever you download the zip file of a plugin

Its already structured most of the time.  Like

GTA V > PLUGINS > EXAMPLE.DLL > LSPDFR > EXAMPLE.DLL

you can always read the readme instructions
