Would you use a voice-controlled AI dispatcher in LSPDFR?

Featured Replies

Hi!

I'm working on a concept for a voice-controlled AI dispatcher for LSPDFR. You talk — the dispatcher replies like a real radio operator, using GPT for dynamic conversation.

You'd be able to:

  • Say things like "Show me 10-8", "Any calls pending?", "Request backup", etc.

  • Hear fully voiced AI responses in return.

  • Get context-aware guidance, not just scripted lines.

🎤 Speech input → 🧠 GPT-generated reply → 🔊 Voice output.

Right now, it's a prototype running outside of GTA V — but I plan to bring it into the game.

Question: Would you actually use something like this in your patrols?
Would love to hear your thoughts, ideas, or concerns.

This sounds like a very good idea, even that you got a prototype running. Would you connect that to Grammar Police, since many people use it. Not sure on how about a stand alone plugin.

But if we could get customized responses I would definitely use it

I do use a AI radio software for ATC on Microsoft Flight Sim and it's taken off. It's changed the game so much.

It makes it different from Grammarpolice:

  • Own e? Loaded with unique customisations such as voice, input and output.
  • Ability to use voice for training, permission to use other peoples voices live if possible to create an immersive feel.
  • No Mic? No problem, type the command in for a voiced reply.
  • This can also be incorporated into a addon with a partner, to chat, perform certain tasks?

I really like the idea, and this is all you can do with it. Like I was saying, this is all included on other games and it works, only issue is it's quite expensive for the licences and may require a small fee.

Wow this sounds amazing. Would you have 1 dispatcher or different dispatchers to choose from and yes I can see this replacing grammar police if done right, imagine your starting your patrol you click button the program says ok who would you like to be your dispatcher today or you get a random dispatcher not every day is same. Maybe you could have a picture of the dispatcher that is assigned to you on the screen as I say not every day will be the same dispatcher one day you could get a calm person another day you could get a young dispatcher just joined and is nervous
