Crashing on launch after new update

Featured Replies

My game was working fine before this most recent update released. Once it released obviously my game was now no longer functional. I found a tutorial on r/gtamodding on how to downgrade your game using the steam console. I tried and my game began to fail to launch at all and would seem to take a long time to start before crashing immediately. I took it as a sign that the trick did not work and to simply wait for the new rph and scripthook updates to come out. Once i saw they came out today i installed both and attempted to launch my game. It loaded in successfully one time. My minimap would not load and when i paused the game it got stuck trying to load the map so i force clsoed. The game now seems to still be doing the same crash on launch as it was doing before. I attempted validating game files and have not been able to get it working again.

any help is appreciated.
