Statistics script?

Featured Replies

I was wondering if there's any way to create a kind of "statistics" script? The script could for example keep track of all criminal activity/violations/arrests/etc within, say, a specific area of the city. It could monitor these activities while you are on duty and when you go off duty you would have all the statistics from the shift available. The script could keep a record of all activities, streets and names of people involved.

Today you drive around (or walk perhaps) and arrest people, you find wanted people via the ID-check, you cite people, have the coroner pick up dead bodies, you collect evidence and leave those at the station and so on. Not to speak of all the crimes you never even notice or attend to.

The thing is you never get any feedback after your shift at the police station.

Now, I don't know if such a script is at all possible to create but it's something that I really would enjoy if it could be done.

It's most likely possible but if it has never been created before then no one will really know how to create it.

Try learning some simple scripting for GTA IV and after awhile of experimenting you may find out a way :)

Not much I could help you with, but good luck.

With LCPD:FR right now there is no API, I'm not sure about PoliceHelper, or Bravehearts policing script. Abraxas says his script is easy to be accessed by other scripters, I have not tried this yet as I have no need to.

LCPD:FR offers some stat's but only for their system. There is nothing yet incorporating statistics from all three, unless you count my Computer Database where your reports will be a reflection of using these scripts eg, LCPD:FR for traffic stops, Abraxas for gettign names of people on the street, and Bravehearts policing script for more calls.

*EDIT* A per officer statistics is something that I plan on implementing in the future of my database, there is a lot on my plate right now though.

Policehelper has no api. My other scripts have some simple functions with access. When api for lcpdfr becomes available I think it will be quite easy to track stats. I started to gather stats myself. Citations and evidence for now. They are srored in txt file so there is an easy access to them.
