Script Errors

Featured Replies

I recently got the new update for the vdH.PHELPER and every time i go into game, the script has errors, then the game crashes, meaning i can't do anything. If any of you lovely people out there have any suggestions on why this is doing it and how to solve it, please do

Many thanks

Reece

Is your scripthook installed correctly?

scripthookdotnet.asi goes in scripts

The others go in your main GTA directory, Ensure you have them installed in the right spot then try running GTA.

Run GTA as administrator (If you arent already).

Also, In your main GTA directory paste in the contents of: vdH.errors.log (In your main GTA directory) And let me have a look. If none of those solutions work or i dont know, Contact abraxas about it.

But paste in that vdH log files contents and let me see first, I know what most of the errors mean/Are when the scripts stop working

EDIT: In addition to running GTA as admin, Go to your (well directory right before GTA depending if you have the disc/Steam version of GTA) Right click on your GTA folder, And un-check "read only" and then it should ask you to do the same for sub-folders say yes. If its on read only sometimes it can't execute or edit the scripts while trying to run them.

Update your ScriptHook to 1.7.1.7. New PoliceHelper is not compatible with older versions.

But I've heard that LCPDFR can only run with older Version of Scripthook.

UPDATE: Ok, it works with LCPDFR, but it's a little bit buggy ^^ Thank you Abraxas btw.
