Nickelback - "The Hits Tour" - Europe 2013

Featured Replies

Just this morning whilst I was sitting in college, sipping on my cup of tea and typing away at my pages of coursework that was due in later that day amongest the odd calmness that surrounded me.

This was weird, college was never this quiet, seeing as we share a building with a school there's usually annoying little kids running about, exhaling the air from their lungs as loud as they possibly can.

This silence was soon broken though, as I saw this hit my twitter feed;

The silence was broken by a mighty roar as I lept from my seat and punched the air, my favourite band was coming back to the UK and so soon, I'd only just seen them on their Here and Now Tour back in October last year.

Speaking on the matter, Chad Kroeger stated: “We were blown away by the sheer number of people who came to see us. There were so many fans who could not get a ticket last year that we were inundated with requests to come back and we love playing in Europe so much!".

For UK residents: Ticket's go on sale at 9:00am on Friday 15th November, the venues are as follows;

September 20th: Rock In Rio - Rio De Janeiro, Brazil

October 26th: Le Zénith Nantes Métropole - Saint-Herblain, France

October 29th: Mediolanum Forum - Milan, Italy

October 31st: Stadthalle - Vienna, Austria

November 2nd: Towar - Warsaw, Poland

November 4th: O2 Arena - Berlin, Germany

November 5th: Sap Arena, Mannheim, Germany

November 7th: O2 Arena - Prague, Czech Republic

November 8th: BudapestArénában - Budapest, Hungary

November 10th: Hallenstadion - Zurich, Switzerland

November 11th: König Pilsener Arena - Oberhausen, Germany

November 13th: Forum Copenhaen - Copenhagen, Denmark

November 14th: Telenor Arena - Oslo, Norway

November 15th: Scandinavium - Gothernburg, Sweden

November 18th: Ziggo Dome - Amsterdam, Netherlands

November 20th: Bercy - Paris, France

November 21st: Forest National - Brussels, Belgium

November 23rd: Echo Arena - Liverpool, United Kingdom

November 24th: O2 Arena - London, United Kingdom

November 27th: Leeds Arena - Leeds, United Kingdom

If you're a fan of the band, I highly recommened going if possible, I went to their "Here and Now Tour" when it stopped off in London on its final leg last year and I can tell you, there are nothing short of epic. They know how to put on a show.

I'll throw up some examples of what I experienced from the venue I went to:

Entering the stage (Epic bass drop)

Tossing Beer (Yes, it was actual beer)

Forcing one of the roadies to perform "Gangnam Style"

Chad and Ryan's Speech

Finishing the show with "Burn It To The Ground"

Discussion is welcome here, given Nickelback's reputation, I'm sure there a fair amount of fans on here besides myself.

Will you be heading to any of these shows? Which one? Have you been to any before? Were you lucky enough to see them on the Here and Now Tour?

Did you even head to the same one as me? (Wembley, October 8th)
