OPP QUESTIONS

Featured Replies

Hey guys, I just had a quick question about OPP uniforms.  I wanted to know what high rank officers would wear and what lower rank officers would wear(constable) and if you could add pictures of it that would be great

Thank you so much !

you're correct blue is aux

Pretty sure light blue is auxiliary, dark blue/black is low-mid rank, and the the high ranks wear white shirts. Here's a pic. OPP is in the middle. http://www.tbnewswatch.com/Pictures/224025_634788160420169970.jpg

I was watching this video and I noticed that some officers were wearing vests with yellow text and some with white text. Is there a difference between them.

I think it mainly just depends on area. Out here in Hamilton, I've never seen yellow text and those vests, but I have seen different types of vests. I've seen some with only POLICE on the back, some with it POLICE only on the front, and some without police at all. Like I said it's more about area I'd guess, because all the Highway Safety Division officers I've seen usually have the vest with POLICE on the front and POLICE on the back. I also think Bonehead is correct about the new ones being the bigger vests with the yellow. You'd probably see a lot of those out in Orillia, considering it's where the general headquarters is, and probably a few in the Highway Safety Division too. They have a lot of variety with their uniforms. EDIT: Oh, I also know they wear the yellow out in Caledonia.

I'm not 100 percent sure but I think the OPP uses the arjent light bar. I was wondering if you've seen a tahoe with an arjent light bar somewhere on the web or an OPP helicopter

Once again Thank you so much

EDIT: I found a helicopter in the toronto mod!

best bet for a tahoe with an arjent would be to use an LAPD model you just won't have a rambar

I thought of that but the top of that light bar is red and blue while the OPP is just white on the top and to me that looks really weird.  I'm pretty sure that there is a way to change the top but whatever i'll look for one!

thats easy to fix link me the model and i'll send you the file to fix it

I don't know but I think this tahoe will look good with the OPP texture

Thank you

Hey, could you also change the lightbar on this model too.  I know I'm asking too much so I'm sorry.
