When I request a backup with the normal LSPDFR backup menu I get this error "There's an issue with the backup configuration file. Please revert any changes.". I don't remember ever changing anything related to backup or that file. This doesn't happen with all units though, requesting backup for the local police unit works just fine, but others like SWAT don't work. I would really appreciate anyone's help.

Please send the RPH Crash Log. It's a txt file in the Main Directory either called RagePluginHook or RagePluginHook.log. It is NOT in the Logs folder.

I had an issue similar to this recently. I never changed anything in the backup file (the one at GTAV/lspdfr/data). But I did change stuff in both the default agency file and the custom agency file that I am using. Anytime I called for a helicopter, I would get a similar message as you did. This would only happen when using Grammar police, as calling a heli through the Ultimate Backup menu worked fine.

 

After investigating, I had removed all of the "Local Air" and "NOOSEAir" sections from these files, and it turns out that they're used for more than just vehicle selection in the Locker Room.

 

Might be worth checking your agency files if you changed those at all.
