Hello, i been thinking about the Script Hook V lately again and what will people do if lets say the man or woman behind it stoped?

Then All trainers and things like ELS would stop working forever?

Will people then only release their cars as Non ELS?

 

And what about rage plugin hook, what if he or she also stoped doing it, then LSPDFR would stop working forever?

 

Am i the only one that thinks about things like this?

 

Let me know what you think and if not, why you dont think about things like this?

ScriptHookV is out of date. You can't use any scripts or plugins, that require SHV, sich as ELS, trainers, etc. Currently owner of SHV is very busy and maybe wont release update for long, as he lives in a country that has active wars (from 24th February), so it will be hard for him to do the update. You will have to just wait for update.

Hello, did you even read my post?

This post is Not an inquiry, this is a discussion post about "What if?"

So to anyone else that dont understand, i am NOT asking when  will it be Updated!!!

Oh my bad. Probably, owner of ELS and other owners of scripts, plugins etc must use other trainer or maybe don't use SHV.

Honestly if it ever took longer than say a month I reckon we would see alternatives or further development to things like: https://github.com/fr-Pursuit/AsiSupport which in a very basic explanation reroutes calls from scripthookv to the rage plugin hook. There was also this: https://github.com/ivanmeler/OpenVHook which remakes SHV itself.

 

I think how closed source all the APIs are is super annoying but the only reason alternatives haven't appeared is because it's thankless work and SHV or RPH always eventually come through in the end and release updates.
