When loading rage hit the settings icon or hold CTRL when booting go to plugins and put "load these plugins" and select all the other plugins you might have and dont select lspdfr if it loads then lmk

It did the same thing as last time it just loaded for abit then froze and kicked me off.

Temporary remove ScripthookVDotNet.asi.

If it loads fine now, you can still try a nightly build.

yh this still did not work and not sure what a nightly build is could you explain.

 

I have also changed mods folder to _mods to see if it was that it still crashes i disabled plugins on start up it also crashed i have no clue whats going on.

A nightly build in general is a early release of a file.

 

 

Have you removed ScripthookVDotNet.asi?

Can you pls post a screenshot of the gta folder, with the ScripthookVDotNet.asi removed, pls?

Can you start gta on its own?

i have tried to start gta without rage but it still crashes. I have tried reinstalling gta, verify files i just cant seem to get it to work

 

Gotcha, the first thing you have to do is get gta to start on its own, and then you should go for rph + lspdfr.

 

Try to go for a clean gta folder, maybe delete your save files, they can cause crashes too if the file is corrupt.

Maybe reinstall Rockstar Games Launcher.

After i reinstalled gta it worked fine i could load into the game, but after adding lspdfr and mods back it just crashes. So do you suggest i reinstall again and retry everything?

Reinstalling rockstar did not work either.

You irretated me a bit by saying you reinstalled gta multiple times & it still hasn't worked 😉

 

Try to rename the mods folder to _mods

Remove ScripthookV.dll & dinput8.dll

 

See how that goes, but only start gta!

it did not crash after doing this it loaded me in.

 

Very good news!

 

Now you'll have to find out if the mods folder or the ScripthookV is causing is.

 

First try the mods folder by renaming it back to mods & put only dinput8.dll back! Then see if gta alone still works!

If you have problems here, dont continue and let me know.

 

If it works, do:

put ScripthookV back and start gta again to see if it works.

 

Info:

For the ScripthookV, be aware that this file is loading .asi files, so the reason for a possible crash is notthe file itself, more an .asi file.

alright i am trying this out will let you know in just a minute.

 

ok i was able to load into the game with dinput8 and mods folder

 

trying the scripthookv now

 

It crashed me with scripthookv 

ScriptHookV.logwasnt sure if this was helpful just thought i would send that in case.

 

Looks like you only have one .asi file, which is ELS.asi, right?
