Police cars disappearing

Featured Replies

Ok so I watched videos on how to change the lods on the police vehicles that I loaded into open iv. Changed the lods but for some reason it doesn’t work. SUV police vehicles, ambulance are transparent at a distance until they get closer. When I walk away from the police ford explorer or the Pranger Tahoe I installed they vanish and when I walk back to them as I get closer they reappear. All lods have been changed to 500.0000000. And still vanish when you walk away or when one of these vehicles are responding to you when they get closer they reappear. It was working fine until I had to update Open IV. I went back in there and re did all lods on down loaded vehicles and it still doesn’t work. Chargers are fine, CVP’s are ok, ford Taurus is ok, and my sheriff2 Silverado are fine but the police 2 Explorer and the Pranger Tahoe sheriff still vanish when you walk away.

Ok which proper forum is it in

This topic has been moved to the correct forum.

1. Make sure the vehicle mod you are using actually has a LOD model.

2. Make sure you have enough game memory to load those vehicles, and resize any 4K liveries to 2K to reduce unnecessary memory usage.
