Recurring possibly NVE-related crash

Featured Replies

I installed NVE last night, and after perusing these forums to find out about the LSPDFR and LML/vfs.dll compatibility patches, I finally got the game to load and play properly, however I am now experiencing a recurring crash (after no more than 35 minutes of gameplay) for no other apparent reason. I have to think that these crashes have something to do with NVE as it is known for this sort of thing, and furthermore I had just remade my mods folder prior to installing NVE, so as to remedy a previous recurring crash. I will attach my RPH log below, in hopes that perhaps someone else will be able to see what I'm missing or doing wrong.

EDIT: After some testing, it would seem that the crash is possibly being caused by LML, as removing vfs.dll from my GTA V directory allowed the game for over and hour before I shut it down, as I assumed that if the game hadn't crashed after twice the previous 35-minute runtime without LML, then it is probably the cause of the crashes. I am still looking for a solution though.

A thorough inspection of my vfs log file indicated an invalid path for update2.rpf, so I simply removed that file from my mods folder, re-added vfs.dll to my GTA V directory, and launched as normal. Runtime is now over an hour and 20 minutes and counting, so I'm hopeful that I've got everything fixed now.
