Listen, I have a big problem with the latest ELS. I've looked at everything I can on how to install ELS and it still doesn't work.
I downloaded Els and put it in the game folder, apart from the dsound.dll file, because if it is in the files, the game does not run at all, I tried without dsound and advancedhook, then the game started but ELS did not work.
I put the cars that had an ELS file into the ELS folder and changed the name to the one on the modded vehicle.
I also changed 2 options in the ELS file, which concern multiplayer and single-player games, to disabled, because that's what it was in some guide. I've tried everything for a few days and I don't have the strength to do anything with it...
I have the game from Steam and it's GTA 4 Complete Edition, I haven't done any downgrading.
I also have a simple native trainer, I also tried it without the dsound file but it didn't work so I put it back and it works normally, but with ELS I deleted the dsound file because otherwise it wouldn't work.

The version you are playing, i.e. 1.0.8.0, does not support scripts such as ELS. To use ELS you need to downgrade. Here's a little reminder:

 

• For version 1.0.8.0 you need: LCPDFR 1.1 Legacy Edition + Compatibility Patch
• For version 1.0.7.0 you need: LCPDFR 1.1 (Not Legacy) without Compatibility Patch
• 1.0.8.0 Version does not support plugins and scripts.
• 1.0.7.0 Version supports plugins and scripts.
