GTAV base game crashing with or without LSPDFR

Featured Replies

Hey all. I've gotten into LSPDFR a bit over the last year and have learned a lot, but there's still a lot I don't know, so bear with me if you will.

I'm coming back after a few months and a couple of game updates, and my GTAV and LSPDFR both crash as soon as the sirens start up on game launch. I've uninstalled and reinstalled LSPDFR, but I'm still having the same issue. As far as I know the base game is up to date. Do I need to uninstall and reinstall the base game? Or is it something to do with mods I had installed when I was playing several months back. Any help is appreciated!

Unfortunately that didn't work either. I got a message that 96 files could not verified and would be reacquired. The game then updated in Steam for about an hour, but I'm having the same error. I'm completely lost.

Me too to be honest... Well I'm not sure but let's try add the game folder to antivirus exceptions (all of them if you have more than one, Windows Defender included), reinstall LSDFR using manual install, make sure mods folder still disabled (named _mods), try launch game, if still crashes send new RagePluginHook.log file.
