Police Vehicle, Weapons and Police Ped Models

 

My problem:

when I play GTA 4 with LCPDFR and ELS, the game crashes either after 20min or in/after the 2nd callout. 

I have already tried to turn off the Ai SP and MP. Doesn't work either.

But now I want to be able to play LCPDFR with ELS without it crashing after every 2nd callout. 

In the log I also have these errors quite often

 

[ERROR] Native function named "SET_CHAR_WILL_TRY_TO_LEAVE_WATER" is not available.

 

[ERROR] Native function named "SET_CAR_CAN_GO_AGAINST_TRAFFIC" is not available.

 

[ERROR] Native function named "SET_CHAR_WILL_TRY_TO_LEAVE_WATER" is not available.

 

[ERROR] Native function named "SWITCH_RANDOM_TRAINS " is not available.

 

Without ELS I have no crash.

Is very unstable. If you really want to play with modded police cars on these slots try to use Non-ELS vehicles.
If you want to play with ELS without crashes create Addon vehicles, like police3, police4, policeb, policew. I am using these slots for my ELS vehicles - for now its the best way. + ELS support more those police slots:

EMERG2

EMERG3

EMERG4

EMERG5

EMERG6
EMERG7
(Remember to add new slot in _SLOTCONTROL in els folder)

If you want to create Addon vehicle:
In vehicles.img rename model to police3, police4 etc. (.wft, .wtd)
Then go to the:
Handling.dat - create new line for your vehicle
Vehciles.ide - ^
Carcols.dat - ^
Cargrp.dat - add your vehicle in the # POPCYCLE_GROUP_COPS
Then go to the LCPDFR.ini and add AdditionalCopCarModels=POLICE3;

That's it, you have new police addon vehicle in game!

Thanks so much I think it worked. I could play more than 2callouts and played without issues over 30min. Game did not crash. I just tested till my game would normally crash.

So i cant use ELS cars on the normal police vehicle slot. The only way to play with fully NYPD cars is to download non els for the ai and els version added on just for me, right ? Because Els cars wont work without els for the ai

Yes! The best option is to give AI Non-ELS cars. And as I said you can add ELS vehicle just for you.
Fun fact:
After adding the line in lcpdfr.ini (AdditionalCopCarModels=<your car>), when you call NOOSE backup (Alt N) there is the chance to AI spawn in your addon car. But no worries about it, if you will not spam NOOSE backup game will not crash. 😄

yes, I have already noticed that. Still haven't had a crash yet. Unfortunately my Ril.budgeted crashed and I can't open scripthook in the game so that I can reload the script. Scripthook menu key is " ' " button, right ?
