Editing Certain LEDs for Custom Vehicles

Recommended Posts

Hello, I'm currently trying to mod LSPDFR and I'm noticing that certain vehicles have relatively dim emergency light LEDs, typically those with interior lights, and other vehicles are just fine and are reasonably bright. I was just wondering if there was a way to brighten lights on a specific car or if perhaps this was an issue with the window tint. I played around with the car.default fix but it's for all lights in general and is throwing the rest of them out of proportion. Thanks.

If you are using some graphics mods like VisualV, you can try to change these values in visualsettings.dat

Spoiler

car.defaultlight.day.emissive.on
car.defaultlight.night.emissive.on
car.defaultlight.day.emissive.off
car.defaultlight.night.emissive.off

But be advised, then you'll gonna experiance too bright signs on taxi, buses, trains, you can find fix here.

I'll repeat, that advise will be usefull only if you are using graphics mod.
