Game crashing when searching a name in the police computer.

Featured Replies

Hi @OfficerChris1,

Same problem here.
Here is my ragepluginhook log.

I only use LSPDFR.

When I get a call in order to arrest a pedestrian, I accept it and look for the name in the computer : after writing it, I press enter, the computer searches, and then the game freezes (but not the sound). If I try to go back to Windows or open Task Manager (by Ctrl + Alt + Del), the screen turns black (in reality, GTA V turns black and stay stuck foreground. Really hard to close it 😅

I'm using Vanilla from LSPDFR

So to make sure that it's totally Computer fault, after loading game type ForceDuty in RPH console, and after that make traffic stop to the first car you'll see, use LSPDFR Computer to check the ped or plate.

I did all step by step, ForceDuty (so my character go back to real life), go in a police car, and use computer to check a plate : it worked. No crash.
Works too while on duty (via ForceDuty again).

So maybe the game only crashes when responding to a call ?

Even with Arrest Warrant callout?

This time, it worked. I asked an Arrest Warrant in RPH, checked the name in the computer, and it worked, I have its address. No crash. 🤨

Hey everyone! Having the same issue. Police computer works perfectly during traffic stops, but once I respond to the "Apprehend wanted subject" task and try to check his name in the police computer, the game just dies. The game freezes, the sound also keeps playing lol. Task manager shows a huge load on memory. Using default police computer (I guess, cause I haven't installed anything extra to the mod). I guess I should've created a separate topic, but firstly decided to write it here too. If it's possible to understand something and get a solution, would be really nice. Thanks in advance 🙂
