I am having trouble with Grand Theft Auto as it fails to load the hook. I have already uninstalled the game and tried reinstalling it without installing LSPDFR. However, the game still locks up at a certain point and crashes. The issue persists even after I installed LSPDFR, it loaded the first time with LSPDFR, but when I quit, the same problem occurred. The music still plays in the background, but the game is not responding. I have attached the log file below, which shows the error. The log creator takes a long time to write as well. I would appreciate any help to fix the issue.

Add your Grand Theft Auto V folder and RagePluginHook.exe as an exception to your antivirus. See how to do this on Windows Defender.

 

If this does not work, please try launching the game without RagePluginHook launched.

Hi there,

Could you try launching GTA5 normally without launching RagePluginHook. Once you've loaded in, and you have control of your character. Then please ALT + TAB out of GTA5, and load Rage. And see if it hooks.

Unfortunately, the Real Names For Everything mod causes the game to crash at the hook part. This issue could affect many players.
