StopThePed TrafficStopQuestions.xml not loading all question groups in-game

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I recently restarted my LSPDFR modding and used Sereous313's "Ultimate Questions 2.0.1" to improve my StopThePed. I went into the TrafficStopQuestions.xml document myself however and corrected some grammatical errors, as well as altered some of the questions to fit my RP. That said, when I load everything up in-game and got to interact on a Traffic Stop, several question groups are missing for no apparent reason. I compared my modified .xml file with the default one (which doesn't lose any groups when loaded) but can't seem to find any reason why this would happen. I used OpenIV to ensure that I didn't damage of structural coding of the document, and found that it is in every way identical to the default UQ .xml file, aside from my changes to the question wording. Any ideas? I have attached my modified .xml and the default below (default is trafficstopquestions1.xml)

EDIT: I also tried reducing the size of the modified file to that of the default, and found that size was not responsible for the issues I've been having, despite a version of the file with fewer changed questions working correctly.

Never mind, I solved this problem on my own, through trial and error. Turns out that if you add too much text to the.xml file, so question groups won't show up in game, so it was, in essence, a size issue after all. I simply removed some unnecessary questions, and voila! All groups are now present and accounted for.
